Kiera is one of Australia’s most experienced electoral, political and campaigning lawyers.
Representing NGOs, political parties, candidates, and advocacy organisations, Kiera has built a reputation for handling high-profile, impactful cases. She played a pivotal role in the 2019 and 2022 federal elections, as well as in the 2022, 2023, and 2024 campaigns. She was involved in the landmark case of Garbett v Liu, which clarified the law on misleading advertising in elections, as well as legal challenges to COVID voting restrictions during the 2022 federal election.
With a a career working in constitutional and public law (including electoral law), alongside 10+ years in commercial litigation, Kiera brings a unique blend of expertise to dealing with complex, high-stakes scenarios.
In 2024, Kiera founded Ripple, a boutique firm dedicated to supporting democracy.
